A home cinema is a small, hard-surfaced box by design — exactly the geometry that produces flutter echo, boomy bass build-up and inconsistent dialogue clarity. The ceiling is the single largest untreated reflective surface in most rooms, and the usual fixes — visible foam panels, fabric-wrapped rafts, bulkheads — solve the sound problem by compromising the room's finish.

How much does an acoustic stretch ceiling actually absorb?
NeviTec's polyester acoustic membrane is independently tested to Class A, αw 1.00 — the top acoustic absorption class. The PVC micro-perforated version is Class B, αw 0.85. Both are certificated test figures, not marketing claims.
Will the ceiling look seamless, or like a treated studio?
Flat and seamless. The perforations are around 0.15mm — effectively invisible from normal viewing distance — so the ceiling reads as a single tensioned plane, not a panelled acoustic treatment.
Can lighting be built in without glare on the screen?
Yes. NeviTec's NT100 and NT50 light panels deliver even, shadow-free light across the ceiling plane rather than through individual downlights, and can be specified with dimmable or tunable control suited to cinema-appropriate low ambient light.
