A Nevitec stretch ceiling is a suspended ceiling system consisting of two main components: a perimeter track (profile) and a high-quality, lightweight PVC membrane. The membrane is heated, stretched, and then clipped into the track to create a perfectly flat, drum-tight surface.
One of the greatest benefits of the Nevitec system is speed. A standard-sized room can usually be completed in one day. Unlike traditional plastering, there is no messy sanding, painting, or drying time required
Absolutely. We can integrate almost any fixture, including LED downlights, chandeliers, smoke detectors, air conditioning vents, and sprinkler systems. These are supported by independent brackets behind the film, so there is no weight pull on the membrane itself.
Yes. Nevitec PVC membranes are 100% moisture-resistant. They are the ideal solution for high-humidity areas like swimming pools, bathrooms, and kitchens. In the event of a water leak from a floor above, the ceiling can actually hold a significant amount of water, protecting your furniture and floor until it can be professionally drained.
Nevitec ceilings are extremely low-maintenance. They are anti-static, meaning they don't attract dust. If cleaning is needed, a soft microfiber cloth and our recommended specialized cleaner are all you need to restore the "as-new" shine.
Safety is our priority. All Nevitec PVC films are manufactured to meet strict European and UK fire safety standards (Euroclass B-s1, d0 or equivalent). They are non-toxic and 100% recyclable.
Our profiles are designed to be incredibly slim. You can install a Nevitec ceiling as little as 15mm to 30mm below your existing ceiling, making it perfect for rooms with low head-height.
While the membrane is very strong and durable, it can be damaged by sharp objects. If a puncture occurs, please contact us immediately. In many cases, we can perform a repair or "re-stretch" without needing to replace the entire ceiling.
