NeviTec Light Panels | Technical FAQ

  • The NT50 (50mm) is a precision-engineered slimline solution utilizing high-density LED mats to achieve uniform luminance in shallow voids. The NT100 (100mm) provides an increased mixing chamber depth, which is ideal for larger spans and high-output requirements, ensuring a perfectly homogenous light surface with zero diode imaging.

  • NeviTec specializes in grand-format, seamless illumination. We can fabricate individual panels up to 5000mm x 5000mmwithout visible joints or seams. For larger architectural requirements, our modular systems allow for continuous luminous surfaces of infinite length.

  • The NT-S100 is designed for volumetric lighting. By illuminating all four vertical perimeters alongside the primary horizontal diffuser, it eliminates the "dark frame" aesthetic of traditional light boxes. This creates a floating 3D luminaire that provides both task lighting and ambient vertical luminance.

  • This is determined by the desired "Visual Comfort" (UGR). Architectural Polyester is recommended for environments requiring a matte, textile-like aesthetic with high diffusion. PVC Membranes are specified for contemporary high-transmittance requirements or where a satin/reflective finish is needed to enhance spatial brightness.

  • Yes. Our membranes are biologically inert, anti-fungal, and antibacterial. Combined with a seamless, non-porous surface, they prevent dust accumulation and microbial growth, making them fully compliant with healthcare, laboratory, and "clean room" ISO standards.

  • The NT100A is a hybrid solution featuring a 20mm glass fiber absorber. When paired with our micro-perforated membranes, the system achieves a high Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC), effectively mitigating mid-to-high frequency reverberation in open-plan or high-traffic interiors.

  • Unlike many suppliers who distribute generic imported kits, NeviTec is a dedicated manufacturer. Every Light Panel is engineered and fabricated in our own UK-based facility.

  • We specify high-CRI (Color Rendering Index >90) LEDs to ensure accurate color reproduction. Our systems are fully compatible with sophisticated control protocols, including DALI-2, 1-10V, and Bluetooth mesh, allowing for flicker-free dimming down to 0.1%.

  • NeviTec panels are designed for longevity. The cold-stretch system allows the membrane to be removed and re-installed for internal maintenance without specialized tools. Our LEDs are rated for L80/B10, ensuring 80% lumen maintenance over 50,000+ operating hours.

  • Our panels support sustainable design through the use of 100% recyclable components, low-VOC emissions, and high-efficacy LED technology that reduces operational carbon.
