Our Process

Initial Evaluation

Consultation and Design

NeviTec collaborates with the client to assess the space, such as a multi-function hall, swimming pool area, showroom or prayer hall, and define project goals including aesthetics acoustics or lighting. A custom design is created selecting materials such as PVC or polyester and finishes such as backlit, gloss or acoustic.

Site Survey and Measurements

Technicians conduct precise measurements of the installation area to ensure a perfect fit. For complex spaces such as a prayer hall, acoustic requirements are evaluated and moisture-resistant materials are selected for areas such as the swimming pool.

Estimating & Budgeting

Estimating involves calculating the approximate cost of the stretch ceiling project based on materials, labour and additional factors. The objective is to create a realistic cost range before commencing work and to budget the project accordingly. 

Construction

Material Fabrication

The stretch ceiling membrane is custom-cut and prepared off-site, incorporating features such as perforations for acoustics or translucent panels for backlit effects.

Framework Installation

A lightweight aluminium or PVC track system is installed around the perimeter of the ceiling area. This framework securely holds the stretch fabric and allows for seamless integration of lighting or acoustic elements.

Membrane Installation

The stretch membrane is heated (for PVC-based systems) to become pliable, then stretched and clipped into the track system. The material is installed to ensure a smooth, reflective finish.

Post-Construction

Lighting and Feature Integration

For backlit ceilings, LED panels are installed behind the membrane to provide uniform light diffusion. Acoustic panels are similarly fitted to optimise sound quality.

Quality Control

The ceiling is inspected for tension, alignment and functionality. Adjustments are made to ensure a flawless finish with no wrinkles or imperfections.

Hand over & Warranty

The client receives project documentation including material details and any specific usage instructions. NeviTec’s PVC or polyester membranes are often warranted for 10 years against defects such as tearing and fading.
