These customisable units can be shaped in virtually any form including squares, rectangles, circles and custom geometric patterns, and sizes ranging from compact accent pieces to large wall-spanning or ceiling-integrated installations.

The dimensions refer to the depth (thickness) of the aluminium frame profile that forms the structure of the light box. The choice of profile depth directly impacts the light box’s appearance, suitability for different installation types and the required LED configuration for optimal illumination.

60mm Profile: A slimline option ideal for applications where minimal protrusion from the wall or ceiling is desired or where space behind the panel is limited. It requires carefully selected LEDs (often edge-lit or specific backlit modules) to ensure uniform brightness given the shallow depth.

100mm Profile: A balanced option offering a good compromise between slim aesthetics and sufficient depth for robust LED arrangements. This depth is versatile for a wide range of wall-mounted or suspended applications, providing excellent light diffusion.

140mm Profile: A more substantial profile allowing for powerful backlighting solutions, particularly beneficial for very large light boxes or those requiring exceptionally high luminosity and perfectly even light distribution. This depth provides ample space for LED arrays that can project light more effectively across a larger area.

Advanced LED Technology:

RGB LED: This incorporates Red, Green and Blue LEDs to create a wide spectrum of vibrant colours. It enables dynamic colour-changing effects, mood lighting, branding and captivating visual displays all controllable via smart systems.

CCT LED (Correlated Colour Temperature): This features LEDs that adjust the colour temperature of white light. Users can seamlessly transition from warm inviting whites (e.g. 2700K) for a cosy ambiance to cool crisp daylight whites (e.g. 6500K) for task lighting or a more energetic feel. This supports circadian rhythm lighting and enhances user comfort.

Combined RGB+CCT/RGBW: Many Nevitec light boxes would likely offer combined RGB and CCT capabilities (RGBW or RGBWW LEDs) providing both full-colour control and the ability to produce a wide range of high-quality white light tones.

Characteristics: Durable, highly elastic, waterproof and impermeable. It can offer various finishes from matte to high-gloss (Supermirror) which can enhance reflections. It is ideal for humid environments.

Printing: Provides a smooth uniform surface for high-resolution digital printing.

Translucency: Excellent light diffusion for backlit applications.

Polyester Stretch Fabric Diffuser

Characteristics: Robust, tear-resistant and often offers a more textile-like matte finish resembling a perfectly plastered surface. It is known for its ‘cold’ installation (no heating required during fitting). Some versions can offer acoustic benefits.
